From a very young age Amos was very creative; he would take apart electronics and try to reassemble them. He created his own transformers from cardboard,
Later, he earned a M.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and finally a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
As a PhD student he created a human gait recognition software application that recovered static body and stride parameters from video footage. Upon receiving his PhD, he worked at Georgia Institute of Technology as a Post-Doctoral Fellow where he researched automatic activity-recognition methods to recognize what activities were occurring in a video-monitored environment. In addition to his technical education, he graduated from Faith Christian Center's Faith School of Ministry in Smyrna, Georgia.
After graduation he became a licensed Minister in the Word of Faith churches where he teaches Christian Entrepreneurship at their Faith Business Institute in Smyrna, Georgia. Besides teaching Entre-preneurship, he is an Assistant Professor at Morehouse College in the Computer Science Department
and with the help of his dad built his first robot while in high school as a science fair project.
After graduating from A. R. Johnson Engineering and Health Science High School as the Salutatorian, he took his passion for creativity to Morehouse College and Georgia Institute of Techno-logy where he received dual degrees in General Science (Morehouse) and Electrical Engineering (Georgia Institute of Technology).
where he teachers various computer science courses and researches the effectiveness of using non-traditional input devices and simulation environments to increase a student's interest in science, technology, engineering, and math.

Mixed in with his teaching career, he is an Entrepreneur who has started businesses and is work-ing with partners to start more. He also uses his business and technical knowledge to consult with other Entrepreneurs who desire to start their own businesses.
