About us

     Rose Shuman is a native of Cartersville Georgia and was educated in the school ststem there; Summer Hill Elementary & Summer Hill High School.  She earned certificates in Cosmetology and 'Childcare Management & Development'.

     She received her Evangelist and Missionary license from the Chuch of God in christ, Inc. and was ordained an Elder in the Good Shepherd New Day Fellowship Church (NDFC). She is now a member of Faith Christian Center (FCC) in Smyrna Georgia under the leadership of Pastor Joel E. Gregory and Minister Patricia Gregory.

Rose is a graduate of the Faith School of Ministry (FSOM) in Smyrna Georgia while FCC was under the leadership of Pastor Andre and Ministrer Tiffany Butler in the Charter Class of May 2008. She accomplish this while working full time at South Fulton Medical Center as a secretary in the ICU/CCU department.

      Rose resides in East Point, GA.  She has three adult children; Rita, Reggie and Minca.  And she has five grandchildren; Jeremy, Amanda, Zarian, Chrissy and Zachary.

      She has a desire to create a positive attitude and self worth in individuals - especially children; teaching her grandson to pay attention to what he watches on TV, movies, Internet, Video Games and what he allows to enter into his mind.  She is dedicted to bringing "positiveness" in a world filled with "negativity" through her Newsletter Elijah's Herald which is published quarterly.

Other Interest or Persuits:

South Fulton Medical Center:

Pastorial Care Team Volunteer
     Whe she is on duty at the ICU / CCU she serves as a volunteer with the "Pastorial Care" department.  She has been called upon to pray with grieving patients and/or their family members on several occasions

VITAS - Hospice Care:

     As a volunteer, she takes time out of her busy schedule to spend a few hours 

per month with a family who is assigned to her.  It requires total commitmenton her part but she feels a special calling to help anyone in need.

Gourmet Baker:

     "Rose makes the best Banana Bread in the world" by R.C.  Comments like that one is common after someone takes bite of one of her twelve "original" signature breads. 

Song Writer & Vocalist:

     Rose has written more thatn ten songs; however in July 2005 she copyrighted ten of her favorites - Click the small 'Song List' betton to see the list.

Poet:

      She has written many, many poems.  If you ever have an opportunity to hear one of her poems, you will be blessed.  Each poem is an enlightment into the thoughts of men and women.  The poem "the Pleasure, The Pain" examines the expression of one's thoughts.
